Baka pygmies live traditionally in huts called mongulu. They are typically shaped one-family houses made of branches and leaves and almost always built by women. Today, besides mongulus, the Baka build also rectangular huts made of leaves (or bark), more or less like those of other ethnic groups (which however are made of mud and wood). |
